Not for emergencies
In an emergency, do not use GoDoctor
GoDoctor is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency — including chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, signs of a stroke, a serious injury, thoughts of self-harm, or any life-threatening situation — call 112 or 199 immediately, or go to the nearest hospital.
Do not delay seeking emergency help because you are waiting for a consultation through GoDoctor. The platform is intended for non-urgent care and cannot dispatch ambulances or provide emergency response.
Telemedicine has limitations
Care delivered remotely by video, audio or chat has inherent limits. A remote provider cannot physically examine you, run in-person tests on the spot, or observe everything that an in-person visit would reveal. Connectivity, audio or video quality, and the information you are able to share all affect what can be assessed remotely. A provider may decide your condition is not suitable for remote care and advise an in-person visit, a referral, or emergency attendance.
Not a substitute for in-person care
Information provided through GoDoctor — including general content in the apps or on this website — is for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional in-person medical care, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about a medical condition, and never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or were told through the platform.
No relationship with GoDoctor itself
GoDoctor is a technology platform operated by Innoedge Technologies Limited. It connects you with independent, MDCN-verified doctors and PCN-licensed pharmacies. No doctor–patient relationship is formed between you and GoDoctor itself. Any such relationship is formed only with the independent professional you consult, who is responsible for the care they provide. See our Terms of Service for how this works.
No guarantee of diagnosis or outcome
Medicine is not an exact science. Neither GoDoctor nor any provider can guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment result or outcome. A consultation may not result in a prescription, referral or definitive diagnosis, and a provider may, in their clinical judgement, decline to treat remotely.
Medication & prescription safety
Take medicines only as directed by the prescribing or dispensing professional and read the information that accompanies them. Tell your provider about all medicines, supplements and allergies you have, and about any reaction you experience. Do not exceed a prescribed dose, share your medicine with others, or use medicine obtained for someone else. If you experience a serious or unexpected reaction, seek urgent medical help and, where life-threatening, call 112 or 199.
Rely on your treating professional
The independent professional treating you — not GoDoctor — is the right source of advice about your specific situation. Follow their guidance, ask them your questions, and arrange the follow-up or in-person care they recommend. If your symptoms worsen or you are concerned, seek further care promptly.
Third-party content
The platform may reference or link to third-party content, products or services. We do not endorse or take responsibility for third-party content, and its inclusion does not constitute medical advice. This disclaimer is read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
