Malaria parasite test (MP)
Detects malaria parasites in your blood, either under a microscope (blood film) or with a rapid diagnostic test (RDT).

Full blood count (FBC)
Counts your red cells, white cells and platelets, plus haemoglobin and related indices.

Typhoid test (Widal / blood culture)
Checks for typhoid fever — the Widal screen looks for antibodies, while blood culture identifies the Salmonella bacteria directly.
